The Roundtable is a series of articles and videos with experts from leading construction and quarrying equipment technology sectors. The brief was to produce a more memorable and distinctive identity, that included a graphic element to convey that everyone at the table is of equal status. After developing numerous ideas, the chosen logo contains four separate coloured corners coming together to form a circle. These complimentary colours combine into a gradient forming the RT lettering implying the convergence of ideas, or discussion from different industry sectors. The intention is that the RT and graphic corners can be used separately from the word ‘Roundtable’ as part of an identity toolkit.
The logo and identity were used to brand or watermark content across all channels and media, so needed to be able to be both recognisable and work in a range of sizes, from a banner on a phone, all the way up to a front cover on a magazine. Editorial designs were created and imagery sourced for content, or related articles, which complimented the overall concept.
